Guilford High School Touchdown Club – September 14, 2012 Minutes Guilford Community Center
Call To Order
Meeting was called to order at 7:32 pm.
In attendance: Joe Iassogna, Geralyn Nelson, Jackie Peters, Matt Hoey, Jon Pensa, Gisel Zergiebel, John Knapp, Susan Knapp, Joanne Nault, Stephanie Purcell Setaro, Dick Balaska, Matt Schilling, Cee Trotta.
Acceptance of Minutes
Minutes for August 2012 were reviewed and accepted.
Committee Reports
Treasurer’s Report: Balance- $5,251.50 in Checking account
Fundraising:
Ads for Adbook need to be pushed.
G’s and Ads – all orders in by Friday, September
Team Tag Sale, Bake Sale.
200 Guilford Indian license plate covers to be sold.
Comedy Night – November 16, 2012 – all set – deposit needed
Snack Stand – coffee urns needed – possible purchase or borrow?
Golf Tournament: made about $2,000. Matt’s goal: To get under the white tent at Lyman’s. Will put together committee in October to start organizing for next year’s tournament. Hoping to make $10,000. Tracy from Lyman’s will meet with committee members to help organize event. Would like Coach involved too.
Smoker netted about $700; possibly will have a second following a home game. Might include women.
Car Wash – 2 dates: September 29th/30th or October 13th(bye week), either at Palumbo’s or A-1 Auto.
New Business
Suggestion to have color senior page at set amount. Motion on floor: $50 per Senior player for a colored page somewhere in the Adbook. Motion tabled until next month.
Pink Game – October 26th. Car Wash to raise money for donating to cancer association.
Pasta Dinners – Joanne Nault will set up room reservations on Thursday before home games.
Discussion of water bottles to carry on to the field. Joe I. will check into this.
A Thank You for a successful Smoker: Thank you to Guilford Food Center for burgers and food. Thank you to Sound Choice for sound system. Thank you to Guilford Volunteer Fire Department for use of the field.
