GHS Touchdown Club meeting Minutes

July 16, 2019

Volunteers/Guests:  Sara Alberti, Todd Rose

• Lineman Challenge: 07/27
• Lift-A-Thon: 08/03 – Karen to make a flyer to promote event on social media
• SchoolID is a requirement to be completed or players will not be eligible at the beginning of the season
• Team store/swag wear will be by Frank Ralston’s company, Apparel Wear

Collected $1,770.27 in buy-out monies (administrative processing fees reflected)

Pasta Dinners: Committee Chair – Paula Burns

09/19/19 (SR), 10/02/19 (JR), 10/17/19 (SOPH), 10/31/19 (TDC), 11/13/19 (FR)

Will host 5 events, one by each class and one by the TDC; they will begin at 6:00 pm to account for earlier practice times

Welcome Sara Alberti (2023) and Todd Rose (2022) class reps!

• Amy will get a full contact list of Freshmen to Sara

Thursday, 09/12, Club insurance (liability insurance) is $350

We have to carry a one-day rider for the Lift-A-Thon since it’s not during school, cost unknown at this time

Saturday, 08/10, Hudl is due:  $1,000; Amy needs a new invoice

The game schedules for Varsity and JV have been posted on guilfordfootball.com

Change two dates for pasta dinners, JR and FR

Saturday, 07/27, Lineman Challenge, Berlin HS – Coach Salvati will notify players who should report

Saturday, 08/03, Lift-A-Thon (9:00am – 12:00 pm) & Family BBQ – approved by school administration

• TDC will be asking parents for donations of food/beverages/condiments for event
• Coach Salvati gave out the donation sheets/instructions to the players
• Food served 11:00 am – 1:00 pm                                                                                                                           

Monday, 07/22, 7:00 pm – TDC will gather at concession stand to clean out for inspection; Kristen Hall (GYF) will participate: need to check propane tanks and clean the BBQ grill prior to Lift-A-Thon.
