GHS Touchdown Club meeting Minutes

Coaching Update

Low turnout at Senior equipment handout; these boys will need to make their own arrangements to get this equipment and have to use it for the summer camps

Coach to meet with Jake on Thursday, 06/13/19, to discuss missing jerseys, helmets sizing (XL)

Approximately 35 Varsity kids from last season are signed up

Approximately 15-8^th graders attended the Coach’s meeting at Adams and showed interest in playing

Rob Mangino has expressed interest in assisting to bring awareness of football to his clientele; the staff will meet with him to discuss speed/agility needs for the team to be all on the same page for summer training

Hold off on parent meeting until August

Activities communicated via Hudl for players to sign up for:

Northeast Showcase = $140 per player, register individually

Southern Camp = new option for a training option, 07/08 – 07/11

• Offensive Line Challenge, 07/27

Requesting players to volunteer at Guilford Youth Football Camp on 07/15, 07/17, 07/18, 07/22, 07/24, 07/25, and the boys will get community service hours; Coach will reach out to Rance Hillier to coordinate

Lift-a-Thon, 08/03 (need to add an insurance rider on to our plan for this event), 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, bring the grill down from the concession stand, have hotdogs, etc.

Treasurer’s Report     

$ 1,325 profit from the May car wash

$   259 profit from The Guilford Mooring Meet the Coach event
