GHS Touchdown Club meeting Minutes

Volunteers/Guests: Anthony Salvati, Adrienne Messina, Tara Huffman, Anna Russell, Paula Burns, Dorothea Calabrese, Sebastian Derda
Coach review with GHS administration has been a challenge to coordinate with schedules.
1st step is to meet with all returning coaching staff and then onto Coach Salvati’s 2 coaches.
Coach Chapman, McDermott and Roni all will have meetings with Jake and Anthony, then their decisions are passed onto Messenti for final approval.
Goal is to have staff in place within the next two weeks
Brian White has been approved to join staff
Dennis O’Connell, Ken Alberti, Ron Mandell, all volunteers to assist this season -rounding out about 11 coaches

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8-8:30 Thursday is 8-12:30
Cost $200.00 per person up to 40 players, 40 above $190
Madison Flag Football
Anthony was asked by Madison if we would like to participate in their flag football game
June 28-29
$500 per team
Mid-May cut off date
Anthony would rather do lineman challenge if had a choice

July 27th at Berlin High School
30 teams compete
$250 per team 6 players per team
additional team can be sent for $185
May 1st registration discount of $25 off
Passing League
Every Monday in July 5 weeks 5:30-7:30
Getting approval to host at GHS this summer
Proposing $350 per team and proceeds got to TDC
7 towns to participate
Need approval from Jake: building use form and fundraiser form

Continuing to wait on approval of the coaching staff from GHS administration - Barb is going to draft a letter to assist in the process, as we have dates and events that are needing attention.
Fundraiser / Meet the Coach - The Mooring looking at dates in April once staff is announced 4/25 possibility
New scholarship update: new scholarship will go directly through school
Freshmen class rep needs to be identified
