Coaching Update
Jake Jarvis, Athletic Director – status of coaching interview processes: Vacancies are under teacher’s contract so it must be open for approximately 8 – 10 weeks. Interview panel will include TDC President, GYF President, Jarvis, Misenti and maybe a student athlete.
Interview process: will consist of a panel and the questions will change depending on the candidate’s background; there is a rating system.
Coaching criteria: differs between the Head Coach and assistant coaching roles. Preferably a teacher, someone with experience. The appointed Head Coach will then interview the assistant candidates and make decisions about existing or new staff. Recommendations will be raised to the Board of Education, who then “hires” the final candidate, per Jake Jarvis.
Other info: Football uniforms are purchased every 4 – 6 years, at a cost of $8 -$10k.

(TDC will fund 10 sessions through Feb)
Thursday, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm, workout in weight room
3:30 pm – 4:30 pm, speed and skills with Coach McDermott and Coach Lacointe
M, W, F, 6:10 am – 7:10 am, workout in weight room w/Coach Vedrani

01/24/19: Upcoming parents/administration meeting with Misenti, Jarvis and Freeman – TDC would like a parent rep from each class to participate on the committee and they would draft the questions and present it to the panel. This is open to the public.
Suggestion to implement a Survey Monkey, rating topics relating to the program and adding a section for open-ended questions; then use represented data
Banquet: inquire about new dates for banquet
New Business
New scholarship inquiry – a family has proposed an additional scholarship in memoriam; need to get check from Ryan Krauchick and then get input from Nancy Cunningham in counseling center
