Coaching update/Coach’s Corner

Discussion:
Coach’s Corner: Coach Avallone asked that if the boys feel strongly about doing something and keeping certain traditions going that they need to bring that up to him directly and that there is to be no parent calls. We are going to table senior family night discussions until October board meeting.

Business Items: Back to school night table proceeds were $70.00. It could have been better if the table was in a better position.
Concession Stand Profit – $1,500.00 made over 3 games.
Senior Night- Michele Robertino has folder of all tasks that need to get done. Underclassmen parents to assist with setting up the field. Sondra will order white roses with green ribbons for team and senior cheerleaders. Lecia Scranton needs a list of the senior players numbers. Pasquale will be taking pictures of the senior families. They will be available to order on line for a cost. Paula Downer will discuss senior night banner.

Banquet: 12/12/17 @ Woodwinds ($26.95/player). The tickets for the banquet will be $40.00 per person. Amy will create a link in the on-line store to purchase the tickets. Michele Robertino distributed notes on the banquet. Amy Bradley and Paula Eldridge will chair the banquet committee. Will ask for help from freshman parents. Miggs volunteered to do the programs.
Senior Family Dinner: A decision was made to remove the raffle and narrow down the time allotted for speeches. Paula Downer will follow-up with Coach Avallone and come up with a resolution on how to proceed with the senior family dinner.
Thanksgiving team breakfast: 11/22/17 at 9:30. Karen Chiaia reserved the community center as a location. There is no charge to use that facility, Larry from the VFW will be providing the food at a cost of $12.00 per player.
Bon Fire: 11/23/17 at Fireman’s Field. Stephanie Moscato getting permits. Pizza and water will be served. Will email parents for dessert donations.
Senior Gifts-Michele handed out information on senior gifts which will be numbered charm pendants ordered from Pictures on Gold. Michele and the senior parents agreed on which charm to order. Michele offered to wrap the gifts and requested that the TDC donate Guilford keychains.
